Looks like Nicki Minaj is back for round two of American Idol drama; this time with ex-judge Steven Tyler.
Tyler was doing an MTV interview on Monday when he brought up the importance of being an opinionated, yet nurturing judge.
He said, “If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying.”
Minaj was quick to defend herself. She sent multiple tweets out following the comment, starting with, “Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet!”
She then added, “You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go (expletive) yourself and worry about yourself babe.”
The Aerosmith singer isn’t the first “racist” to get on Nicki’s bad side.
Barbara Walters recently brought Mariah Carey onto The View. After only getting Carey’s side of the two diva’s feud on American Idol, Nicki went off, tweeting, “Hey yAll. Lets just say nicki said smthn about a gun. ppl will believe it cuz she’s a black rapper. Lmao. I’ll then hit up Barbara n milk it.”
Nicki Minaj has received a lot of backlash since she was announced as the other female AI judge, but I think her, Martha, and Roman are doing everything they can to prove the hatas wrong.
Nicki might not have Steven Tyler, Barbara Walters, or Mariah Carey on her side. But at least she’s always got her Barbz!
