They tried to make him go to rehab and he said yessss let’s go.
After more than 10 years since his last stint in rehab, Glee star Cory Monteith checks himself into a 30-day treatment facility for substance addiction.
We didn’t even know he had a problem! Sure, we’ve seen the pics of him and on and off-set girlfriend Lea Michele buying beer at the grocery store, but who would’ve thought Finn Hudson was a real life bad boy?
Back in 2011, Monteith told Parade magazine that he had started drinking and smoking pot when he was 13 and first went to rehab at age 19.
After doing “anything and everything, as much as possible,” the actor has decided “to start looking at my life and figure out why I’m doing this.”
Lea Michele said in a statement, “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this.” “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”
Glee’s creator and director Ryan Murphy also lent his support, tweeting, “I am so proud of Cory Monteith and love and support him 100%.”
Let’s hope Cory gets the help he needs. We sure do love Finchel.
