Kim Kardashian’s name first spread around Hollywood after the release of her 2007 sex tape with then boyfriend, rapper Ray-J. Since then, she has become a multimillion dollar entrepreneur and has far surpassed the fame he has had.
Now with a baby on the way with rapper Kanye West, Ray might be feeling a little jealous of her successes.
His new song “Hit it first” makes multiple references to Kardashian- he starts the song with, “She may move on to rappers and ball players, but we all know I hit it first.”
He also goes on to say, “I hit it north, with her ass goin’ south, but now baby chose to go west.” West, huh? Sounds a bit like a diss.
But the rapper told New York’s Hot 97, “It’s a song, it’s not about that, it’s about a concept. People going way too deep…I’m not trying to create no war… we’re doing music.”
Even though there was no direct mention of Kim, or Kanye, or “ballpayer” exes Kris Humphries and Reggie Bush, we can assume the song is about them. Despite Ray J’s denials, let’s be real: when was the last time he came out with a song?
Hopefully Kimye can brush this off. They’ve got a lot going for them, and can’t waste time in the past. Kim’s moved on, Ray. Maybe you should too.
