As sad as the news of Joan Rivers’ passing is, we can’t help but think she’d want the world to do exactly what they did when she was alive: laugh.
So we went out onto the streets of New York City to see what people thought she would want to say about herself. After all, no one could make a hilarious situation out of a sad one more than Joan Rivers.
Check it out here.
Sex and the City might be over, but Carrie Bradshaw will live on forever.
In a recent interview with Vogue.com– interesting that her character freelanced for Vogue- she announced that she would be working with Manolo Blahnik CEO George Malkemus to create a new line of accessories.
Parker said, “In a silly way, I think it’s what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw.”
Well, duh! Any diehard SATC fan will tell you that Carrie was the queen of Manolos. She then added, “It’s hard to – no pun intended – walk away from that.”
The line, which will simply be called SJP will feature handbags, trench coats, and of course, shoes will be “something different” in terms of color combinations, shapes, and price ranges.
SJP collection is being produced in Europe and New York City and is expected to hit Nordstrom department stores in 2014.
After three years of marriage, Glee’s Jane Lynch and wife Lara Embry are ending their marriage.
Lynch confirmed to People, “Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter.”
There has been no comment as to why the two, who met at a 2009 fundraiser have called it quits, but we hope to see a maintained relationship between Lynch and stepdaughter Haden.
Last March, she had told People, “My greatest pleasure is Haden. I am surprised how much love you feel and how you would do anything for your children.”
The actress, who will be starring as Miss Hannigan in Broadway’s revival of Annie performed last evening at the Tony’s in New York City.
After a year together, funnyman Jason Segel and Oz The Great and Powerful actress Michelle Williams have called it quits earlier this month.
A source reported to People that the two couldn’t keep up with the long distance.
While Segel films How I Met Your Mother in L.A., Williams and daughter Matilda (with the late Heath Ledger) reside in New York City.
Sources say the couple’s break was mutual, telling Us Weekly, “It’s a sad moment. They respect each other.”
While some would celebrate that these two Hollywood hotties are once again on the market, we can’t help but be sad that little Matilda lost another father figure. Hopefully Williams can find her Prince Charming someday soon.
